HOW DID YOU COME TO WORK IN THE HEALTHCARE INDUSTRY?

Helena Samsioe: “I grew up with two parents who both worked as doctors globally, so since I was a child, I travelled and lived in many different places and especially spent a lot of time growing up in both Asia and Africa. This is where my interest in healthcare originated from.

“As an adult I found myself interested in international business, and my first job was Management Consultancy for a health management consultancy firm. Through this position I was introduced to the growing field of healthcare technologies. However, there was at the time very few suppliers through which to get hold of these new technologies, such as drones.

“This later led me to launch GLOBHE; to answer the shortage, demand and potential of drones being used in healthcare to help solve global health problems. And this is exactly what we do today.”
