The two in­sti­tu­tions signed the deal after the ad­vo­cates failed in their bid to be ex­empted from tak­ing and pass­ing Cer­ti­fied Pub­lic Sec­re­tary (CPS) course. The Regis­tra­tion of Cer­ti­fied Pub­lic Sec­re­taries Board has par­tially ex­empted ad­vo­cates and law de­gree grad­u­ates from sit­ting the 18 pa­pers in the CPS ex­am­i­na­tions.
