Two face charges over possession of Sh3m ivory

Two sus­pects were yes­ter­day ar­raigned at the Makindu law courts and charged with possession of ivory worth Sh3.2 mil­lion. David Mu­tua and Wam­bua Muia were ar­rested in Emali by Kenya Wildlife Ser­vice of­fi­cers who had posed as ivory mer­chants. They de­nied the charge and were re­manded until next Tues­day when the court will rule on whether not to free them on bond.
