Captivating landscape around Some Sevit

My happiest memory in Seoul was a visit to Some Sevit. I decided to attend an international dessert fair there on a very beautiful evening of August that was heldfor the fourth time in Korea.

Some Sevit is a manmade island that floats in the Han River and is located at the southern end of Banpo Bridge. It is a first-ever cluster of artificial islands comprised of three flower-themed islets, namely Sovit, Chavit, and Gavit that have different functions.

Firstly, I received my entrance ticket in the form of a wristband from the English counter and directly went to the dessert fair hall that was on the third floor.

Inside the hall, there were many stalls of local and international dessert, food and beverage brands. Outside, the food was on display with their stall names, thus making the task easier to find a stall of your choice.

The hall was very crowded because it was the last day of the fair.

As I love close-up photography of food and everything pretty, I tried taking close-up shots of the food items displayed at the stalls. The desserts were super cute in addition to being delicious.

Most of the stalls offered free samples. I really enjoyed sampling because I could taste delicious cookies, cakes, brownies and jams before buying them. I took some shots while sampling the delectable jams and cookies.

As soon as the fair ended, I came out on the deck of Some Sevit. The sunset view was amazing and the cool evening breeze was mesmerizing. I took a sunset shot from my ordinary DSLR lens, but the result was amazing as the view was so enchanting.

I walked around the deck and took evening shots of the islands. The stunning lighting made the view more beautiful. I took several shots under different lights.

My evening ended while watching a wonderful Korean fire dance performance. I made a video of the performance and uploaded it on YouTube. From the fair, I bought desserts, air fragrances and handmade soaps as souvenirs for my family.
