내부.서퍽카운티법원복도 잠시후

Mike, still carrying his bags from the plane, emerges from an elevator.

마이크가 비행기에서 내린 짐을 그대로

Mike hurries down the hall, nearly knocking people out of the way. He arrives at the records room and slams up against the glass just as the clerk (O’Brian) locks the door.

마이크는거의사람들을칠뻔하며황급히복도를 뛰어간다. 그렇게기록실에도착하지만 사서인 오브라이언이 문을 잠그고 있다.마이크는그유리문을향해몸을부딪친다.

MIKE: Hey, hey. I need to get in there.

마이크: 잠깐만요.전들어가야해요.

O’BRIAN: We’re closed.오브라이언:문닫았어요.

MIKE: Come on,

let me in. Five minutes.

마이크: 열어줘요.딱5분이면 돼요.

O’BRIAN: I’m sorry, we’re closed.오브라이언:미안하지만이미닫았어요.

MIKE: Come on. Five minutes.마이크: 제발요. 5분만요.

But the clerk leaves. Mike bangs the door in frustration.

하지만 사서는 가버린다. 실망한 마이크가문을쾅쾅친다.

INT. SUFFOLK COUNTY COURTHOUSE, HALLWAY ― MORNING

내부.서퍽카운티법원복도 아침

The elevator door opens and Clerk O’Brian walks out with coffee and a copy of the Globe. As he approaches the door, Mike who was sitting on the hallway stands up and follows him.

엘리베이터 문이 열리고 양손에 커피와보스턴 글로브를 든 사서 오브라이언이 내린다. 그가 기록실 문으로 걸어가자 복도에앉아있던마이크가일어나따라간다.

INT. SUFFOLK COUNTY COURTHOUSE, RECORDS ROOM ― CONTINUOUS

Mike fills out the application for records and hands it to O’Brian.

마이크가 기록 열람 신청서를 작성해 오브라이언에게건넨다.

MIKE: Here.마이크: 여기요.

O’Brian reads it.오브라이언이신청서를읽는다. 계속 오브라이언: (고개를 가로저으며) 그문서는비공개예요.

MIKE: No. That’s a public motion. Those records are public. Look, I work for the Globe.

마이크: 아니요. 그건공개 자료예요. 열람이가능하다고요.전보스턴글로브기자예요.

O’BRIAN: Good for you.오브라이언:좋으시겠네요.

Mike senses his hostile attitude.마이크는그의냉담한태도를감지한다.

MIKE: (pointing inside) Can I talk to your supervisor?

마이크: (안쪽을 가리키며) 여기 책임자있어요? ■ seal 밀봉[밀폐]하다 (= to close an envelope, package etc by using something sticky to hold its edges in place) ■ hostile 적대적인; 냉담한 (= angry and deliberately unfriendly towards someone, and ready to argue with them)
