The company has ties with 12 overseas partners including Singapore-based Zen Rooms, the budget hotel network startup founded by Rocket Internet, and Rakuten LIFULL Stay, an affiliate of Japan’s e-commerce giant Rakuten, to offer more diverse choices for its users.

The firm said users can use points accumulated through booking domestic accommodation or leisure activities when booking overseas hotels.

The service also allows users to use mobile payment systems such as Kakao Pay and Payco. Users can cancel reservation or get a refund easily as well.

“We put our top priority on user convenience and distinguished benefits when launching the global hotel booking service,” Yanolja Chief Technology Officer Song Jae-ha said. “We will continue to analyze factors causing inconvenience to users and improve them. We will also consistently expand service areas to grow Yanolja as the most advanced global leisure platform.”
