P&G Korea launches laundry detergent for winter clothes
Organizing the closet and bringing out winter clothes is one of the first things people do when temperatures drop in November and December.
However, no matter how clean winter clothes are being washed and stored they could smell musty after being sealed and left in the closet throughout the humid summer.
In many cases, the smell that permeates through the fibers does not disappear easily, even when washed several times with normal detergents.
To help solve this issue, P&G Korea recently introduced a powerful laundry detergent called Downy Smell Deep Clean that can remove stubborn stains and damp odors from winter clothes.
The product not only gets rid of the smell, but also removes stains that may be the underlying cause of the unpleasant odor.
“Downy detergent’s powerful formula neatly removes everything from small stains that cannot be noticed with the naked eye to the damp smell that is hard to get rid of. After washing with our new product, there will be only fresh smell coming from the clothes,” a P&G Korea official said. P&G Korea’s new detergent also contributes to environmental sustainability. In general, washing clothes with cold water can reduce power consumption and carbon emissions compared to using hot water. Downy Smell Deep Clean dissolves quickly in cold water since it includes new enzyme ingredients. In particular, it is designed with an effective deep-cleansing technology that leaves no residue, which leaves a damp smell on clothes.
Downy Smell Deep Clean comes in three types: Fresh Mint, Lavender Clean and Indoor Drying.
