LG CNS develops coding service based on generative AI
LG CNS has developed a large language model (LLM) optimized for generative AI services that can write code, targeting markets such as finance companies that place importance on data security, the company said Wednesday.
LG CNS launched its AI Coding service last June, a code-generating AI service based on ChatGPT. This time, the company developed its own LLM, which serves as the brain for AI Coding, which customer companies sensitive to data leaks, such as finance and securities companies, can also utilize in their internal servers.
Customers can use AI Coding by choosing between LG CNS’ LLM and OpenAI’s ChatGPT according to their respective business environments, LG CNS added.
“We have secured an LLM optimized for AI Coding that can be installed and used in the infrastructure environment owned by the customer,” said Kim Sun-jung, chief technology officer of LG CNS. “We will enable customers to innovate the development productivity of digital services through AI Coding.”
LG CNS’ AI Coding is a generative AI service that supports the coding work of developers when building systems, applications and other services. To help customers apply this service more easily, the company also conducts consulting services.
“LG CNS’ engineers pre-configure prompts with customer information such as coding standards, system development environments and performance criteria so that customers can immediately utilize AI Coding,” the company said.
The company added that customers can utilize its AI Coding service in various ways such as code conversion, code generation, code recommendation and code quality inspection, according to the requirements of developers.
