MAX Live in Seoul: Love in Stereo Myunghwa Live Hall

American singer-songwriter Max Schneider, who also goes by MAX, will be returning to Korea after four years for another live concert to mark the release of his new album, “Love in Stereo.” MAX is best-known for his single “Lights Down Low,” and was named a No.1 Emerging Artist by Billboard in 2019. The singer is popular among Korean music fans due to his collaborat­ion with a number of K-pop acts, including BTS and TXT. His track, “Stupid in Love,” in “Love in Stereo” also features Le Sserafim’s Huh Yun-jin.

iri Asia Tour 2024 in Seoul KT&G Sangsang Madang April 6

iri, a Japanese hip-hop and R&B singer-songwriter, is coming to Korea for the first time for her tour this April. Starting off as a live jazz bar performer, the singer gradually grew in popularity after she won the

grand prize in an audition sponsored by the fashion magazine Nylon Japan and Sony Music in 2014. Some of her notable tracks include “Season” and “friends.”

She will also be holding a concert in Taipei.

Umi: Talking to the Wind Tour Myunghwa Live Hall

Emerging American singer-songwriter Umi is holding her second solo concert in Korea to mark the release of her new EP, “talking to the wind.” Having launched her music career through online platforms, such as YouTube and SoundCloud, Umi has been presenting her signature Bedroom R&B tracks. The vocalist made her name known in Korea after her collaborat­ion with V of BTS in “wherever u r” last December.

Lisa Ono Live in Ulsan Hyundai Arts Center April 20

Popular for her raw vocals and romantic guitar playing, Brazilian Japanese singer Lisa Ono led the boom of the bossa nova genre in Japan. After the release of her first album in 1989, Ono has performed around the world, collaborat­ing with several bossa nova and jazz samba legends such as Antonio Carlos Jobim and Joao Donato. In her upcoming live concert in Ulsan, the singer will perform Jobim’s hits alongside iconic pop songs — “My Cherie Amour” and “I Wish You Love” — with a bossa nova twist.
