Amiri Guard team follows up ‘training’: Amiri Guard delegation headed by Lieutenant General Nasser Al-Lalahoo visited the assimilati­ve training square in Kazma Camp recently to follow up the field training sessions. Activities at the camp were much-admired by the team during the visit. Actress Abdullah admitted in hospital: Prominent Kuwaiti actress Suad Abdullah has been admitted to the Zain Hospital for medical tests, reports Al-Rai daily.

American woman suffers fractures: A 48-year-old American woman sustained fractures in the left thigh and bruises in the right ankle following a 3-vehicle collision on the Coastal Road near Mahboula Bridge, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily. The woman has been rushed to the Adan Hospital. Driver seriously injured in accident: The driver of a heavy vehicle sustained serious injuries when the heavy vehicle, which was carrying bricks, toppled recently on Seventh Ring Road, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.

The accident caused a huge traffic jam. Securityme­n and paramedics rushed to the location when they received informatio­n about the accident. Paramedics referred the injured driver to the nearest hospital while securityme­n shifted the vehicle from the road to ease the traffic.

Apartment

fire contained: Firemen from the Salmiya fire station extinguish­ed a fire that broke out in an apartment in the area and prevented it from spreading, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.

No casualties have been reported. 10 rare sheep stolen from livestock pen: An elderly Kuwaiti retiree has filed a complaint with the Kabd Police Station accusing unidentifi­ed persons of stealing 10 rare sheep from his livestock pen, reports Annahar daily.

Police are looking for the thief. Youth held for stabbing another: An unidentifi­ed youth, who was stabbed in the head by another youth during a fight over a girl inside a commercial complex in Shuwaikh, has been arrested by the police, reports Al-Rai daily.

According to security sources after stabbing the youth the suspect escaped from the scene but he was arrested by the police after viewing the CCTV footage.

The victim has been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of the Farwaniya Hospital. Five steal motorcycle: The Mubarak Al-Kabir police are looking for five thieves for stealing a motorcycle, reports Alam Alyawm daily.

In his complaint to the Adan Police Station, a Kuwaiti man said his son heard some movements in the compound of his house and when he went to check he saw five youths driving off with his bike after breaking the lock on the chain.
