2 Russians die: An Egyptian security official says two Russian tourists have died the Sinai Peninsula after their minibus flipped over.

Maj. Gen. Mahmoud alHefnawi says a 50-year-old Russian man and a 48-year-old Russian woman were killed in the accident Friday.

Al-Hefnawi says eight others were injured, including Egyptians and Russians, and that they have were transporte­d to a hospital in Nuweiba in southern Sinai.

Also Friday, an armored police vehicle flipped over in northern Sinai, killing a policeman. Five other police officers were critically injured.
