Kuwait to partake in Jakarta’s OIC: Kuwait will be partaking in the fourth Organization of Islamic Cooperation’s (OIC) meeting on the role of women in development which would be held in Jakarta, Indonesia, on Dec 4-6, said a Kuwaiti diplomat in Kuala Lumpur Sunday.

Kuwait’s Ambassador to Indonesia, Nasser Al-Enizi, told KUNA that Sheikha Latifa Al-Fahad Al-Salem Al-Sabah will be representing Kuwait at the conference aimed at increasing women involvement in economic development within the domain of OIC countries.

He noted that Kuwait was very keen on bolstering the role of women in development, affirming that women in the Muslim world could play an integral part in achieving economic prosperity to their respective countries.
