Dejected driver kills himself

Cash stolen: Police are looking for a thief who broke the side glass of a car belonging to an Egyptian man working as Mandoub for a domestic labor office and escaped with KD 1,700 cash, reports Al-Rai daily.

The car was parked in a public park at Jleeb Shuyoukh area when the crime took place, and personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department have lifted fingerprin­ts to identify the culprit. Apparently, the sponsor (Kuwaiti) knocked at the door of the driver several times and when he received no response, he opened the door and found the corpse dangling from the ceiling.

It is reported the driver had received a letter from his wife asking for divorce. The corpse has since been deposited to Forensics.
