Kuwait crush Tadamun 101-48
KUWAIT CITY, Dec 24: Kuwait basketball team on Sunday crushed Tadamun 101-48 in the third round of the second stage of the 51st Kuwait Basketball League.
Kuwait team was led by Rashid Al-Rabah, Ahmad AlMutairi, Salem Al-Enezi, and Abdulrahman Juma to the big win.
Kuwait team was vastly experienced and skillful compared to Tadamun.
Meanwhile, Kazma, the defending champion, defeated Sulaibkhat 84-48.
In other matches, Arabi won against Yarmuk 75-67, while Al-Shabab defeated Salmiya 63-44.
For the past 50 years, Qadsia won the title 25 times, followed by Arabi eight times, while Kazma won it seven times.
Utah snapped a two-game losing streak with its fifth consecutive regular-season victory over Orlando. The Jazz played without point guard Mo Williams, out indefinitely with a thumb injury. Kings 108, Trail Blazers 96
In Sacramento, Calif, Marcus Thornton scored 18 of his 22 points in the second half to help slumping Sacramento snap Portland’s five-game winning streak.
The Kings played without starting center DeMarcus Cousins, who was suspended indefinitely Saturday for unprofessional behavior and conduct detrimental to the team.
Already ahead by nine, the Kings opened the fourth quarter with a 7-0 run, including a 3-pointer by Thornton, to build their lead to 87-71. The Blazers trailed by at least 13 the rest of the way.
