Mitt Romney to give first postelecti­on interview to Fox’s Wallace

NEW YORK, Feb 25, (Agencies): Fox’s Chris Wallace has landed the first postelecti­on interview with defeated Republican nominee Mitt Romney and his wife, Ann.

Wallace said on “Fox News Sunday” that the interview will air on his show next week. Additional portions will be on Fox News Channel the next day. Wallace says he’ll ask Romney how he has dealt with the defeat, what he plans to do and his thoughts about President Barack Obama’s second-term agenda.

Fox News spokeswoma­n Ashley Nerz says the interview will be taped this week in southern California, where Romney has spent much of his time since the election.

Romney has also said he will speak March 15 to the Conservati­ve Political Action Conference in Washington, an annual event that draws leading

Republican voices.

Prince is continuing to ramp up his public profile. This week, he’ll make a TV appearance on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.”

A rep for the late-night television talk show confirmed the pop legend will appear on the show Friday and will perform two songs. It’s not clear whether he’ll perform new material or some of his classics.

The reclusive star has been back in the spotlight recently. He presented the record of the year trophy at the Grammys, released the song “Screwdrive­r” on his new website and is due to perform several dates in Europe this summer.

ABC is doubling down on its fairytale-themed “Once Upon a Time,” planning a spinoff of the Mad Hatter character, an individual familiar with the situation told TheWrap.

The network is looking to recast the character, which was played by “Gossip Girl” alum Sebastian Stan for half a dozen episodes last year. (Stan is currently preparing to star in “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” for a 2014 release.)

The spinoff is currently in the very early planning stages, the individual told TheWrap.

Interestin­gly, the spinoff could end up competing with NBC’s “Wonderland,” That project, which is being executive produced by “CSI” creator Anthony Zuiker, reimagines Alice as a woman who develops into the malevolent Queen.
