The WSIS summit will review the major changes that have occurred in the domain of IT and make recommendations on the way forward. (KUNA) MEW eyes comprehensive plan: The Ministry of Electricity and Water (MEW) has laid down a comprehensive plan to guarantee ample supply of electricity, especially during summer, reports Al-Anba daily quoting sources.

Sources revealed the assistant undersecretaries had earlier submit- ted reports on the final phase of the project to Undersecretary Ahmad AlJassar who will, in turn, submit them to Minister Abdulaziz Al-Ibrahim for approval.

Sources said the assistant undersecretaries have highlighted in their reports the need to activate the role of the Higher Committee for Rationing Electricity and Water Supply to lighten the load of various sectors in the ministry, particularly those in charge of electricity and water production and distribution. Sources added the ministry is keen on taking all the necessary procedures to prevent power cuts during summer.
