FAIPS holds Primary Sports Day
The Kuwait Sports Center, Ahmadi, witnessed an exhibition of skill and sportsmanship by the young athletes of Primary Section of FAIPS-DPS on Feb 2, as part of Sports Day celebrations. The stadium was packed with parents and well-wishers who had come to cheer their young ones. The Principal, Ms Anju Dheman, Vice-Principal Ravi and Primary Supervisor Ms Shabnam Nilofer graced the event.
After the customary rendition of Kuwait national anthem, the events commenced with an energetic march past display by the students of Class V bearing the flags of the four Houses viz Faith, Harmony, Peace and Truth. Led by the house captains, they marched smartly, doing their respective Houses proud.
The students of Class III put up a colourful drill display with the formation of Kuwait and Indian flags which elicited loud cheers from the audience. Yoga drill by 4th grade students and martial arts fusion drill by 5th graders demonstrated a great level of enduring symmetry.
Various track events were conducted for which the winners of each event were awarded medals and certificates at the prize distribution ceremony.
The principal congratulated the budding sports stars for their enthusiastic participation and appreciated the efforts of Primary Section for the success of day’s events. The event concluded with the Indian national anthem.
