Amir congratulates Dominican: His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent a cable of congratulations to the President of Dominican, Eliud Williams, on occasion of his country’s National Day.

His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber AlMubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah sent cables of similar content. (KUNA) Kuwait’s FM receives letters: Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah received on Thursday a letter from UAE counterpart Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, per- taining to bilateral relations and issues of common interest.

Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled also received a similar letter from Costa Rican Foreign Minister Enrique Castillo. (KUNA) Kuwaiti volunteers host expo: Under the patronage of Kuwait’s Consul-General for Dubai and the northern Emirates Tariq Al-Hamad a fashion exhibition was opened as part of Kuwait’s national celebrations. The celebratory event was attended by many diplomats from Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Palestine, Morocco, Pakistan, Azerbaijan, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, China and South Africa.

Anwar Al-Awadi, a diplomat at the Kuwaiti Consulate, expressed her delight to KUNA on the opening of this fashion expo which was organized by a host of Kuwaiti male and female volunteers.

The diplomat seized this opportunity to extend her greetings of the national occasions to the Kuwaiti leadership and the people.

Head of the exhibition Nora AlMehanna said that this fashion event tries to deliver a message of love, peace and cooperation from the Kuwaiti people.

She pointed out that the choice fell on Dubai to host the fair due to the ease of procedures offered by the government in setting up such an event as well as it is considered the first tourists’ destination in the Gulf region. (KUNA)
