KUWAIT CITY, April 13: A Step Ahead is a Saudi – centric, 6 step, two-day program designed to empower women, ranging from senior university students to fresh graduates from around the Kingdom. This event will be held in Riyadh from April 15 – 16th, 2013. This event will be held under the patronage of Adel Fakeih, the Minister of Labor, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

This program has been designed to help the Saudi young ladies to step out and see the wide range of opportunities available in the private sector. This event is a collective effort between Glowork and various private sectors, which has been created mainly to bridge the gap between the labor market and the education sector. This event will help in educating the young women with the available opportunities in the labor market and also help them to network with private sectors.

Balsam and Lulwa Al Ayoub have been invited from Kuwait to be a role model and share their experience and unique journey on empowering women through sport and how they have been able to live their passion and to take part in this unique event with the CXO’s of larger corporates like KPMG,Oracle, GE, Mc Kinsey, Yahoo, HP, Shell, etc.

The young women in Saudi who do not have much learning on sports and lifestyle through their formal education, will understand the various roles of being a leader through sports. How champions can be created through sports.

“It is indeed a great opportunity for us, to meet the Saudi young women and tomorrow’s leaders. Participating in Living Your Passion session, will definitely give us the chance to open the gates for the Saudi women, to enter our world and live our lives and experience this international movement.”

They added, “This is the right time as the Saudi young athletes look forward in creating a sports movement, they will be able to understand how to survive through various hurdles and yet live their passion!”

“We share the same society, traditions, background, culture and this will make it easy for them to understand and we will also be able to attract them to experience our sport development programs, training young female and we will be opening the doors for young Saudi women to take part in our leadership programs in the sports field,” said Balsam & Lulwa Al Ayoub.

We look forward to signing the agreement with Glowork.net, which will help to find a way to involve the Saudi young women in the international sport movement.
