Doctors honored: Al-Rashaida tribe recently organized a gathering at Al-Rashaida diwaniya in Ishbilia in honor of the tribe members who acquired a doctorate degree, reports Al-Seyassah daily quoting sources.

A large number of tribe members attended the event which was held under the patronage of State Minister for Cabinet and Municipali­ty Affairs Sheikh Mohammad AlAbdullah.

The awardees expressed their gratitude to the tribe for recognizin­g their academic accomplish­ment, asserting this serves as an inspiratio­n for them to exert more efforts in serving the country and raising the name of their tribe. Auction May 1: The Permanent Committee for the Auction of Impounded Vehicles and Motorcycle­s will hold a public auction on May 1 to sell confiscate­d vehicles in the garage for impounded vehicles in Amghara.

In a press statement Sunday, the Ministry of Interior confirmed the public auction was announced in newspapers, radios and television channels on April 7; calling on the owners of the impounded vehicles to visit the committee.

All the interested parties should visit the garage one day before the auction to check the vehicles. Al-Dosari clarified the initial phase of the project is for employees under government contracts to be followed by those working in the private sector. He advised the employers, who want to benefit from the system, to update their files and fill up the necessary forms at the Government­al Contracts Department in Dajeej during official working hours. He said the employers must meet two conditions before using the system — updated files and deposit salaries to the bank accounts of workers.

According to Al-Dosari, the new mechanism is aimed at reducing the crowds in labor sectors.
