Amir receives Qatar letter: His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received on Monday at Bayan Palace the ambassador of Qatar to Kuwait Abdulaziz Saad Al-Fheid.
The diplomat handed the Amir a letter from the Amir of Qatar Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani, tackling bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries, means to enhance the cooperation between them in various fields, issues of common interest and latest developments on the regional and international arenas. Bosnia praises Kuwaiti ties: Bosnian Minister of Justice Barisa Colak praised on Monday Kuwait’s efforts to improve its relations with Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Colak, in a statement to KUNA after his meeting with Kuwaiti Minister of Justice and Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Shereeda Al-Muosherji, who is heading a delegation to Bosnia, stated that prospects of establishing greater cooperation between the two countries “are multiple and promising.” He said that this three-day visit is a great opportunity to strengthen ties and relations between the two countries’ ministries of justice, to cooperate in extradition of wanted persons and coordinating in the judicial sector.
Colak expressed gratitude to the minister and his delegation for responding to the invitation to visit the country. The Kuwaiti delegation arrived in the country on Sunday. (KUNA)
Minister meets PACC, UN team: Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs and Minister of State for Municipality Affairs, Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah Al-Mubarak AlSabah, received on Monday at his office in Al-Seif Palace, Director of the Public Authority for Assessment of Compensation Resulting From Iraqi Aggression (PAAC), Khalid Ahmed Al-Mudhaf, accompanied by a delegation of the United Nations Compensation Commission, on occasion of their visit to the country.
The two sides reviewed several topics linked to the work of The United Nations Compensation Commission.
Meanwhile, Sheikh Mohammad Al-Abdullah welcomed the visiting commission, highly praising efforts of the PAAC and all achievements made that serve the objectives of its establishment. (KUNA)
Arab conference ends: The Arab Work Conference has concluded its 40th session with boosting manpower and labor cooperation among Arab countries the main focus.
Kuwaiti Minister of State for Social Affairs and Labor Thikra Al-Rishidi, who attended the meeting, said the officials had during their week-long conference tackled the results of a report of a previous meeting regarding unemployment in the region.
The attendees also agreed to arrange for and coordinate on participation at the next meeting of the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC) on labor issues. (KUNA)
