Entry allowed: Director-General of Citizenship and Travel Documents Sheikh Faisal Al-Nawaf has issued instructions to allow a bedoun family to enter the country, reports Al-Shahed daily.
This happened when officials at the Al-Nuwaiseeb border post prevented an elderly woman and her three sons (one of them handicapped) from entering the country because their passports (Article 17) had expired.
The family was stranded in no-man’s land between Kuwait and Saudi Arabia for a couple of days. Experts due: Director of Kuwait Center for Combating Cancer (KCCC) Dr Ahmad Al-Awadi said 15 experts in cancer surgery and treatment of head and neck tumors will visit the center soon, reports Al-Kuwaitiyah daily.
In a recent press statement, Al-Awadi disclosed the visiting consultative team includes experts in the fields of surgery and nursing. He said the Canadian team, which is specialized in the treatment of head and neck tumors, will look into the cases of some patients in the center; while the nursing team will assess the nursing care methods in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Indian robbed: Police are looking for unidentified person for breaking into and stealing KD 500 from the car of an Indian man, reports Al-Kuwaitiah daily.

Meanwhile, police are looking for an unidentified person for shooting randomly in the air, reports Al-Shahed daily.
The incident was reported to police by a Kuwaiti motorist who saw the suspect firing in the air from his car.
Although police did not find the suspect in the area, the caller has provided police the car plate number of the suspect.
