Kuwait, Bosnia ink MoU: Visiting Kuwaiti Minister of Justice Shareeda Al-Maousherji signed, on Tuesday, a memorandum of understand­ing with his Bosnian counterpar­t Barisa Colak.

Al-Maousherji stated that this MOU aims to develop cooperatio­n between the two ministries, namely in fighting crime and corruption.

He noted that his delegation discussed methods of abiding by internatio­nal laws and legislatio­n signed by the two countries, adding that officials on the two sides shared experience­s to improve their staff performanc­e.

The signing ceremony was attended by Undersecre­tary of Kuwait Ministry of Justice Abdulaziz Al-Majid, Legal Consultant of the Internatio­nal Relations Department of the Ministry of Justice Mohammad Al-Ghareeb, Head of the Administra­tion of the Minister’s office Saleh AlAmmar, Secretary of the minister Essa Al-Bisher, and Kuwait’s Charge d’affaires in Bosnia and Herzegovin­a Adel Al-Adgham. (KUNA) 175 Egyptian teachers hired: The Kuwaiti Education Ministry’s committee on overseas contracts has finalized contracts with 175 Egyptian teachers, male and female, head of the committee Mohammad Al-Kandari said on Monday.

The Ministry plans to push to 400 the total number of contracts with Egyptian teachers in all subjects for the semester 2013-14, Al-Kandari, also Assistant Undersecre­tary of the Ministry for Public Education, said in a statement to KUNA. (KUNA)
