Two die in accidents; death of old man probed

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 27: A 41-yearold Indian died following a twovehicle collision on the Airport Road opposite Khaitan, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.

The other motorist, an Egyptian man and his wife who was in the passenger seat have been admitted to the Farwaniya Hospital with serious injuries. Meanwhile, an expatriate in his 30s was hit and killed by a speeding motorist while trying to cross a street in Khaitan. The body was referred to Forensics, reports Alam Al-Youm daily. Death probed: Security authoritie­s have initiated an investigat­ion to determine mystery surroundin­g an elderly man who allegedly choked to death, reports Al-Anba daily.

No further details were given. Man missing: Police are looking for an unidentifi­ed 21-year-old man who has been reported missing from his house in Adan, reports Al-Rai daily.

And Security operatives referred an Asian man to Drug Prosecutio­n after he was caught with 1500 grams of heroin in his possession, reports Alam Al-Youm daily. Security crackdown: During a security crackdown on vice, residence law violators and reckless motorists police have arrested eight men who had been sentenced in absentia, 26 people for violating residence laws, referred many vehicles to a police garage and issued large number of citations for erring motorists, reports Al-Anba daily.
