Braz de Parra to release Konkani CD

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 30: Wellknown Goan composer-singer Braz de Parra will release his maiden audio CD entitled ‘Kosli Ixttagot’ (What is Friendship!) on Dec 1, 2013 in Kuwait.

The CD produced under Avy Productions will be made public at Asia-Asia Hall during the staging of ‘Goencho Rakonddar’, a Konkani musical show by Maestro Shahu.

‘Kosli Ixttagot’ has 13 powerful tracks sung by celebrated Goan singers of Konkani stage such as Sonia Sirsat, Seby de Divar, Ancieto Lawrence, Bab Andrew, Dubai Trio, Alias, Albert, Domnic de Parra, and Braz de Parra with wife Cynthia and son Avlon, while Braz’s father — the eminent Jose Rod at the age of 75, also sings with his melodious voice.

Musical score for the audio is credited to the dynamic musician Norman Cardozo and it is recorded at Magic Touch Studio by Chris Corriea.

Winner of Kala Academy Best Singer Award in 1989, Braz Rodrigues popularly known as Braz de Parra rose to fame for his lyrics of ‘BLACK’ — the first Konkani e-Cinema produced by TBush Films.
