Maid steals cash: A bedoun woman has filed a complaint with the Taima Police Station accusing her Ethiopian housemaid of stealing KD 10,800, reports Al-Rai daily.
During interrogation the maid is said to have denied the accusations.
Meanwhile, police are looking for two unidentified Pakistanis for ‘stealing’ 2 new cars from a car rental office, reports Al-Shahed daily. According to the company representative, the suspects hired the cars from the company and when they failed to return them or pay the rent charges, the company tried to get in touch with them and found their cell phones closed. Police hunt gunman: Police are looking for an unidentified armed man for breaking into the home of a Kuwaiti family in the suburb of Abdullah Al-Mubarak and threatening to shoot members of the family, reports Al-Shahed daily.
The daily added, the suspect escaped on foot before the arrival of police. Sponsor robbed: Police are looking for an Asian maid for stealing KD 1,200 from the safe in her sponsor’s home, reports AlWatan Arabic daily.
