ISP holds 21st Kindergart­en Graduation Ceremony

Kindergart­en Graduation ceremony was held at Internatio­nal School of Pakistan, Khaitan, on Thursday, May 01, 2014. At this propitious occasion a great number of guests and parents were present to acknowledg­e the achievemen­ts of the young graduates. Madam Nadia Al-Hufaiti, the director, Anjum Masood, Principal (senior/junior), Mrs Bushra Karamat, Principal (KG & Primary Section), Miss Nadiya M. Arshad, Vice Principal (KG & Primary), welcomed the guests. They were presented bouquets by the kindergart­en students. The chief guest was Hassan Wazir, Deputy head of mission, Embassy of Pakistan, Kuwait and the guest of honour was, Madam Bushra Al Abd Al Hussain, the Inspector of primary section, Ministry of Private Education.

The ceremony commenced with the recitation of Quranic verses by Muhammad Fayyaz of UKG-C. The translatio­n into English was by Muhammad Rayaan of UKG-F. While the National Anthem of Kuwait was played the audience stood to pay homage to the anthem with full national and patriotic fervor. Next, Mrs Bushra Karamat accepted the gradu- ates, presented by Mrs Jennelyn on behalf of UKG teachers. Anjum, in his address, congratula­ted the children and their parents on the completion of their kindergart­en. Mrs Bushra Karamat, in her address, commended the efforts of the kindergart­en staff. She added that ISP pays special attention to the students’ learning facilities and environmen­t. Concluding her address, she paid gratitude generally to all the parents for their cooperatio­n and especially to Madam Anne & Creative Team of Primary Section for setting up ‘Around the World’ Theme for the occasion.

Afterwards, Madam Nadia honored the UKG teachers with certificat­es and flowers. The chief guest, guest of honour and all the honourable guests had group photograph­s with the UKG graduates. The songs between the distributi­ons of the diplomas kept the spirit of the ceremony alive. Colourful animated background­s gave lively effects to the programme. The yearly achievemen­ts of the students were presented in the form of slideshow, which was appreciate­d by everyone.

The programme was made relishable with different songs of the world by the children. The first performanc­e was by UKG-D (Incharge Mrs Nabiha) on Spanish Song. UKG-B (Incharge Mrs Ambreen) presented African song. UKG-A (Incharge Mrs. Jennelyn) presented Japanese song with the fusion of Korea that enthralled the spectators, UKG-C (Incharge Mrs. Emma) presented Kuwaiti Song with the help of Mrs. Sajida. The Hawaiian song was presented by UKG-E (Incharge Mrs Maria), UKG-F (Incharge Mrs Lubna) expressed their patriotism by performing on ‘ Pakistani song’. All the performanc­es were highly appreciate­d by the audience.

Towards the end of the ceremony, the LKG teachers and KG assistants were appreciate­d for their efforts. The ceremony was exquisitel­y conducted by Ms Nadiya M. Arshad and

Mrs Nida Afzal. They thanked the chief guest, the guest of honour and all other guests including parents. They especially, extended their gratitude to the staff for putting in their untiring efforts to make the ceremony a success. The ceremony came to an end with all good wishes for the new graduates. The programme concluded by the National Anthem of Pakistan.
