Rafiq, Hernandez outclass rivals to lead Level B
KUWAIT CITY, Aug 26: Roy Satorre this week showed he is one of the best players in town by taking the lead in the top-most category of the “Officers Cup 2014”, organized by the Filipino Badminton Club in Kuwait (FILBACK) at the Nasser Sports Club, Friday.
While Satorre was the best so far in Level A--Higher, Joel Gonzaga led Level A—Lower, Mohammed Rafiq was at top in Level B--Higher, Aleks Hernandez was topping Level B— Lower, Amber Rubin was dominating Mixed B—Higher, Andy Dialogo led the way in Mixed B—Lower, Ariel Ines was the leader in Level C—Higher, Gerrie Satorre showed how things should be done in Level C—Lower, Ralyn Hanko was ahead in Level D—Higher and Francine led Level D—Lower.
This week, Roy and Nato hammered Nestor and Mon 21-7, 21-16 before they edged Edizon and Jess 17-21, 21-17, 2117, while Edison and Roman outlasted Roy and Mon 21-15, 20-21, 21-13, Edison and Mon overcame Sitrasu and Roman 21-20, 21-16, Nestor and Joel overwhelmed Richard and Roman 21-17, 21-16 and Richard with Nato thumped Nestor and Jess 21-17, 21-17.
