Int’l neurospine surgeon in Kuwait from Oct 25-31
KUWAIT CITY, Oct 19: Dar Al-Shifa Hospital welcomes the visit of Dr Joseph Buric — Consultant of Neurospine Surgery. Dr Buric is a European Board certified Neurosurgeon with decades long experience in spine surgery. The visit extends from Oct 25 to 31, 2014.
He owns the membership of the North American Spine Society, the International Society for the Advancement of Spine Surgery, the International Society for the Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery and the Italian Neurosurgery and Spine Society.
Dr Buric is extremely experienced in the minimally invasive spine surgery being able to implement perfectly the principles of minimal approach surgery in order to reduce risk of complications, shorten the in-hospital stay and improve the overall outcome of the patients affected by degenerative problems of the spine such as disc herniations, spinal instability and disc degeneration, spinal stenosis and adult spinal deformities as scoliosis and kyphoscoliosis.
Also, he wrote number of articles on these subjects and presented on a great number of international meetings. He is also a reviewer of some peer-reviewed Journals in the spinal field of medicine and is actively involved in research programs on the minimally invasive spinal surgery.
He founded the Neurospine Team, a multidisciplinary group of specialist involved in the treatment of the aforementioned.
Dr Buric is specialized at the treatment of spondylolisthesis & tumors, the treatment through spinal catheter, minimizing the herniated intervertebral disc by radio frequency without surgery.
In addition, he is specialized on the treatment of spinal canal stenosis for old people by simple intervention within half hour beside the microscopic surgeries including the patients who have been conducting surgeries previously.
