5 training programs prepared for public sector’s employment
KUWAIT CITY, April 6, (KUNA): Five training programs have been worked out with aim of habilitating freshly graduates citizens to be employed in public sectors in need for qualified personnel.
Hajraf Al-Hajraf, the deputy director general for training affairs at the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET), said in a statement on Monday that the special courses train graduates to perform tasks related to control maintenance networks, power protection installations, other divisions in the power sector, security inspection at the airport and smart power installations.
The Civil Service Commission will be addressed for approval of these pro- grams and define related administrative and bureaucratic matters, said AlHajraf, following a meeting of PAAET’s training committee.
PAAET is proceeding with the approach to secure specialized national cadres to man and operate the public sectors.
Al-Hajraf added that the commission approved four more programs, concerning meteorology, hotel and health services.
He added that it also blessed a plan for admitting 2,200 male and female students for the 2015-2016 training period, indicating that several authorities such as the municipality, the ministries of interior, social affairs and health were in need for new staff.
