Kuwait, Romania discuss military ties: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Khaled AlJarrah Al-Sabah held talks here Sunday with visiting Romanian State Minister Teodor Melescanu on issues of common interest, especially military ones.

The Minister of Defense praised deep-rooted relations shared between the two countries and stressed the keenness of both countries to boost bilateral relations, Kuwait’s Ministry of Defense Directorate of Moral Guidance and Public Relations said in a press statement. (KUNA) Decision on ‘non-exemption’ of students: Minister of Education and Higher Education Dr Bader Al-Essa issued a decision on the non-exemption of Kuwaiti students, who want to continue their university education in Cairo, from the ‘old secondary certificate’ item, reports Al-Shahid daily.

Article One of the decision states that Kuwaiti students who intend to pursue university education in Cairo are not exempted from the ‘old secondary certificate’ item, provided it is within two years from the date of obtaining the certificate.
