KEA Kuwait conducts medical camp
KUWAIT CITY, April 6: The Kasaragod Expatriates Association (KEA) Kuwait recently organized a medical awareness camp in cooperation with Al-Nahal International Clinic at the Al Nahal Clinic, Abbasiya on March 23, 2015.
The medical facilities, medical equipment, technical services, doctors, medical staff, etc were provided by Al-Nahal Clinic.
Alarge crowd of people from Kasaragod district benefitted from the activities in the form of consultation with the doctors and medical staff.
The camp was inaugurated by the cardiologist Dr Balakrishna Pai. The KEA President Hamid Madhur presided over the function in the presence of KEA Chief Patron Sageer Trikaripur, Chairman Engineer Aboobakar, Al Nahal Clinic Adm Manager Abdul Azeez, Asst Adm Manager Lucia Williams.
Dr Balakrishnan in his inaugural speech elaborated on the cause of heart disease and called upon the people to change their lifestyle by making exercise a daily routine and avoiding junk food to stay healthy.
Instead of depending only on the medications it is necessary to check the intake of food and exercise control over diabetes and blood pressure which are the main causes of heart disease.
In the closing session KEA President Hamid Madhur and KEA Secretary Sudan Avikkara presented memento to Al Nahal Adm Manager Abdul Azeez and Lense and Frame Manager Saju respectively.
The medical camp was controlled by Dr Lingayya, Dr Ashis, Sister Soly Somi, Binoy Jobi. Ramakrishnan, Mohammed Arangadi, Samad Kondotty, Anil Kallar facilitated the closing ceremony.
The medical camp convener Salam Kaland welcomed the audience and Ashraf Trikaripur gave the vote of thanks.
