Utmost civilization ... utmost retardation

I AM currently reading a very valuable book — ‘A Mosque in Munich: Nazis, the CIA and the Rise of the Muslim Brotherhood in the West’, written by Ian Johnson and translated into Arabic.

The book talks about relations or links of the Muslim Brotherhood and Nazis before the fall of their country with the end of the Second World War, and being taken up by the CIA later.

So far, I have not reached the part about relations of the Brotherhood — the masters of immoderation and extremism — with the Nazis and America. I will talk about it once I finish that chapter in a bid to sober up every mindless person affiliated to the Brotherhood’s ‘peaceful’ ideology. However, this talk will not concern those who benefit from being affiliated to the group in terms of positions, tenders, grants and turning a blind eye towards violations, etc.

Going back to Germany, particularly the booming city of Munich, the author said more than three million bombs fell on this city, destroying half of the new buildings, whereas only a few fell on the old Munich. About 6,000 people died and around 15,000 were injured due to the continuous shelling of the city. After the dust of war settled, almost half of Munich’s population before

the war immigrated somewhere else; while about 300,000 of the 900,000 population remained without a shelter.

Several years later, house rents became expensive to a point that four families lived in a single apartment where you would find a visitor’s instruction sticker saying, “Knock once for the Smith family, twice for the Brown family, thrice for the Muller family... and so forth”.

The Germans did not howl and lament the way Arabs and Muslims do during catastrophes. Instead, the Germans made a serious and sincere commitment to rebuild their ruined nation to be better than it was before the war.

The author cited examples of the Germans’ determination. He said that within one day 7,000 men removed 15,000 cubic meters of rubble with the help of 269 huge wagons and 4,000 liters of fuel offered by the American soldiers. Their reward at the end of a difficult day included two sausages, bread and a liter of the famous German beer.

Let us leave the Munich mosque and return to our current world. One of my acquaintances from Syria told me the story of his 20-year-old nephew who migrated to Germany, fleeing from the hell of civil war in Syria. The young man went through a tough journey before reaching Germany; but he arrived safely, his asylum application was accepted and he was referred to the refugees’ accommodation where he receives three meals per day and a humble monthly pay. Being the breadwinner for his parents who are very old, the German authority in charge of refugees’ affairs decided to provide him with a three-bedroom apartment and increased his monthly wage. A job was also secured for him and a date was even set for his parents to live with him in Germany. I pondered on the story. According to the Syrian youth, majority of the Syrian refugees who are with him in Germany are from al-Nusra Front and they are engaged in continuous conflicts with the supporters of Bashar alAssad. Indeed, Arabs are useless.

I could not help but remember what the silly ones amongst us did in the name of Islam and what the Germans are doing. One of our silly ones took pride in arming 14,000 jihadists to kill each other; whereas another one bragged and expressed his joy, together with those around him, about slaughtering a Syria man with his children. He even promised to take pleasure in slaughtering 10 Syrian families with his bare hands. This is the civilization of the West which surpasses us in every aspect, and this is the retardation of Arabs and Muslims as well as backwardness in humanity and in various aspects.
