NGOs rap attack on Aqsa mosque

-

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 29: Several nongovernmental organizations in Kuwait have issued a joint press release, signed by their respective representatives, to denounce the recent Zionist attack on AlAqsa Mosque, which they regard as a racial act against Palestinians, reports AlSeyassah daily.

The organizations affirmed that the Zionist hostility continues with the use of violence and murder against Palestinians, indicating that the aim is to weaken the Palestinian resistance, ensure the Judaization of Al-Quds and take control of the place by displacing the original inhabitants.

They added that such an act with racial coloration from the Zionists is not a surprise and that it is clear to the entire world.

Meanwhile, Al-Rai daily reported that the Palestinian Minister of Public Works and Housing Affairs Mufid Al-Husaynah held discussions with the Director of Operations at Kuwait Fund for Arab Economy Development (KFAED) Marwan Al-Ghanim concerning the latest developments of the Kuwaiti grant for construction of 2,000 housing units in Gaza.

He disclosed that project will witness concrete improvements within the next few weeks.

Al-Husaynah explained that efforts are ongoing to select an engineering consultancy office to execute the project alongside KFAED under supervision of his ministry. The tender has been floated for interested consultancy offices and envelopes will be opened early November. The process will be preceded by the execution of the project, which will be launched within the next few weeks after the required construction materials are available.
