IEI Kuwait Chapter conducts seminar
Kuwait chapter conducted its Engineering technical seminar on Oct 19, 2015 at Kohinoor Restaurant, Fahaheel as part of its knowledge enrichment programme for its members. The seminar was conducted by two eminent engineers who have a plethora of experience in their field of engineering. After the welcome address by the Hon Chairman S. Krishnan the seminar commenced at 8.00 pm.

The first session of the seminar was on the topic “Key Engineering Highlights of Facilities & Equipment for oil & gas production in KOC” Presented by: Engr Babar Mirza, Senior Engineer Projects, JPM, KOC.
During his presentation Engr Babar Mirza explained the various facilities at KOC and presented several case studies to emphasize the learning objectives in the field of design and Engineering in oil Ingredients: 1 lb large elbow macaroni, cooked to desired tenderness; 1/2 cup thinly sliced celery; 1/4 cup finely diced sweet onion; 1 small red sweet bell pepper, finely diced; 1/4-1/2 cup sliced pimento stuffed olive; 1-1/2 cups mayonnaise; 2 tsp prepared yellow mustard; 1 tsp apple cider vinegar; 1/4 cup sweet pickle relish; 2 tsp sugar; 1/2 tsp salt; 1/2 tsp black pepper; 1 tbsp celery seed

The second session of the seminar was on the topic “AVIONICS - Reduced Vertical Separation Minima” presented by: Engr A.V.D.K. Ravishankar, Quality Assurance Manager, National Aviation Services During his presentation Engr Ravishankar explained the concept of Vertical Separation Minima and the related guidelines and the latest regulations in Airline Industry. His visuals were very interesting and simple to understand. Both speakers conducted Q&A session and the lively interaction between the speakers and the audience was useful to all attendees.
The seminar was attended by a large number of IEI Kuwait chapter members who were greatly benefited by the content and presentation of the two sessions of this seminar.
