Timberwolv­es top Hawks; Warriors remain unbeaten

LOS ANGELES, Nov 10, (AP): J.J. Redick scored six points in the final 55 seconds to rally the Los Angeles Clippers to a 94-92 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday, ending a twogame losing streak.

Blake Griffin had 24 points and 12 rebounds, and DeAndre Jordan added 13 points and 12 rebounds for the Clippers during a back-and-forth game in which neither team led by more than eight points.

Redick finished with 16 points, but his biggest contributi­ons came when he hit a go-ahead 3-pointer and then got fouled by Tony Allen and made all three free throws to put the Clippers ahead 90-86.

Zach Randolph scored 26 points to lead the Grizzlies, who dropped their third in a row. Marc Gasol added 18 points and Mike Conley had 16.

Timberwolv­es 117, Hawks 107

In Atlanta, Andrew Wiggins tied a career high with 33 points, Karl-Anthony Towns added 17 and Minnesota blew a 34-point lead before snapping Atlanta’s seven-game winning streak.

Andrew Wiggins equaled a career high with 33 points and Karl-Anthony Towns added 17 as the Minnesota Timberwolv­es blew a 34-point lead before snapping the Atlanta Hawks’ seven-game winning streak with a 117-107 victory on Monday.

Atlanta never led until Paul Millsap’s runner with 3:26 remaining made it 107106, but Wiggins scored the next seven points to prevent one of the biggest collapses in NBA history.

Jeff Teague finished with 24 points and Millsap had 22 for the Hawks.

The Timberwolv­es avoided what would have been the franchise’s biggest blown lead in a loss. They led by 29 before falling to Dallas on Dec. 30, 2008.

It marked the first time in Wiggins’ two-year career that he’s had consecutiv­e 30-point games. His 3-pointer early in the third made it 81-47.

Warriors 109, Pistons 95

In Oakland, California, Stephen Curry overcame his worst shooting night of the season to score 22 points as Golden State beat Detroit to remain the NBA’s only undefeated team.

Curry missed five of his first seven shots and finished 7 of 18 from the floor while being held under 30 points for only the third time this season. The reigning MVP also had five assists and five rebounds.

Klay Thompson added 24 points, Harrison Barnes had 12, Andre Iguodala scored 13 and Leandro Barbosa had 10, including five straight to help the Warriors pull away in the fourth quarter.

Golden State’s 8-0 start is the secondbest in franchise history. The Philadelph­ia Warriors won their first nine games in 1960-61.

Bulls 111, 76ers 88

In Philadelph­ia, Nikola Mirotic had 20 points and 10 rebounds and Pau Gasol scored 16 points to lead Chicago past winless Philadelph­ia.

The Bulls played without Joakim Noah and still cruised to a 15-point lead in the first quarter. They eventually stretched the lead to 26 points. Doug McDermott scored 18 points and Derrick Rose had 12.

Philadelph­ia (0-7) has lost 17 straight games dating to March 27, 2015. The 17game skid matches the fourth-longest mark in franchise history, and three of those lengthy losing streaks have come

since the start of the 2013-14 season.

Nuggets 108, Trail Blazers 104

In Denver, J.J. Hickson scored 19 points and rookie Emmanuel Mudiay hit

two game-sealing free throws with 18.3 seconds remaining, helping Denver beat Portland.

Mudiay finished with 18 points and Kenneth Faried added 17 - and drew a key late charge - as the Nuggets ended an eight-game skid to the Trail Blazers.

Hickson came up big down the stretch, hitting four free throws in the final 1:49 to keep the Blazers at bay.

With Denver up 106-104, Mudiay connected two free throws. He then blocked Damian Lillard’s layup to close out Denver’s first win at home this season.

Spurs 106, Kings 88

In Sacramento, California, Kawhi Leonard scored 24 points, and Tim Duncan had 11 points and 14 rebounds as San Antonio beat Sacramento.

The Spurs pulled away in the fourth quarter to win their second straight and fifth in six games since dropping their season-opener to Oklahoma City.

LaMarcus Aldridge had 16 points and

nine rebounds, Tony Parker had 13 points and the Spurs outscored the Kings 34-19 in the fourth quarter. The Spurs shot 53 percent.

DeMarcus Cousins had 21 points and 12 rebounds in his return to the lineup but the Kings dropped their sixth straight game. Ex-Spur Marco Belinelli had 17 points, Omri Casspi had 16 and Rajon Rondo had nine points and 12 assists.

Pacers 97, Magic 84

In Indianapol­is, Paul George made a pivotal go-ahead basket late and finished with 27 points to lead Indiana over Orlando.

George’s 3-pointer with 5:51 remaining gave the Pacers an 83-81 lead. Indiana used a 17-3 fourth quarter run to take the lead and pull away for its fourth win in five games.

After George’s make, Chase Budinger made a 3 and George Hill drove to the basket to make it 88-81. Hill finished with 23 points and seven rebounds,
