Writing for children at DAI: Writing for Children is a programme for 8 - 12 year olds, incorporating many aspects of the successful “Writing to Read” programme. During each six week programme, the participants will write and illustrate a story for children. Each meeting will run from 3:30 - 4:30 pm.

Madeenah cultural tours: Beyond the Wall — Shuwaikh Beach: The construction of borders are often forged by trading networks, the development of ports of commerce, and as a direct result of cultural exchange. These are a few of the many dynamics that can experienced through a walk by Shuwaikh’s coastal line. Stepping outside the old city walls was a political act of Modernity and power. Moving away from the city center, was an economic and social gesture of independence from the previous dominant governance of the sea. In this tour Madeenah will be exploring the different definitions and forms of borders and how together, they draw an outline of a city’s future.

Almass Volley 2015: ALMASS-Kuwait, the Alumni Association of St Stephen’s College Uzhavoor, Kuwait Chapter will conduct its 3rd Annual General Body Meeting and ‘Almass Volley 2015’ volleyball tournament at Indian Central School, Abbasiya on Nov 13, 2015.

KALA-Kuwait drawing contest: Kerala Art Lovers Association ‘Mazhavillu2015’ drawing and painting competitions for Indian school children, today at 1:30 pm at Indian Carmel School, Khaitan and results will be announced on Nov 20, 2015. The school with highest aggregate points will be awarded with the ‘Mazhavillu-2015 Trophy’. The prize distribution schedule and venue shall be announced later.
