The Ahmadi police have arrested an Indian for entering the country on forged passport, reports AlRai daily.

The suspect was arrested on suspicion by patrolmen in Jaber Al-Ali. After the man was fingerprinted, police found out he was carrying the civil ID of another person.

Police investigations revealed the Indian had earlier been deported from Kuwait, but he returned on forged passport.

The Indian has been handed over to the Criminal Investigations Department. Police are investing to find out if someone helped him enter the country.
