South Korea clinch championship title

China and India complete podium

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 12: South Korea won the championship title of the 13th Asian Shooting Championship which concluded Thursday at the Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Olympic Shooting Complex in Kuwait.

The fierce competition among South Korea, China and India ended with South Korea bagging two gold medals on the last day of the championship this year.

The 2012 Asian Champion Dae Kyu Jang from South Korea won the gold medal in the 25 meters center fire pistol competition for individuals, while the silver went to Thailand’s Pongpol Kulchairattana and the bronze went to India’s silver medalist in 2012 London’s Olympics and the world champion of 2009 and 2011 Vijay Kumar.
