Stadium ‘a great edifice’:

His Highness the Deputy Amir and Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Saturday received a cable from National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim congratulating him, on behalf of all lawmakers, on the spectacular opening of Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium on Friday.

In his cable, Al-Ghanim described the new stadium as a great edifice. He also expressed delight for His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Deputy Amir and Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf’s attendance at the opening ceremony.

In reply, His Highness the Deputy Amir sent a cable to chief lawmaker Al-Ghanim, thanking him and all lawmakers for their good sentiments. He also lauded great efforts exerted by all state bodies to render the ceremony a real success. (KUNA)
