HH Crown Prince lauds officials on successful organization
KUWAIT CITY, Dec 19, (KUNA): His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah AlAhmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Friday sent cables to senior states officials, congratulating them on the successful organization of Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium opening ceremony.
The cables were sent to His Highness Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak AlHamad Al-Sabah, Amiri Diwan Affairs Minister Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Mohammad Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, and Deputy Amiri Diwan Minister Sheikh Ali AlJarrah Al-Sabah.
His Highness the Amir also cabled Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Sheikh Salman Sabah Salem AlHumoud Al-Sabah, Minister of Health Saad Al-Obaidi, Minister of Public Works and Minister of State for National Assembly Affairs Ali Al-Omair, Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, Acting Minister of Electricity and Water and Head of Jaber Stadium opening ceremony organizing committee Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, Chairman of the Public Authority for Sport Sheikh Ahmad Mansour Al-Ahmad Al-Ahmad AlSabah and Head of the Administrative and Financial Affairs Department at the Amiri Diwan and deputy head of the stadium opening’s organizing committee Abdulaziz Ishaq.
In the cables, His Highness Sheikh Sabah expressed appreciation to state bodies’ efforts to prepare, implement and secure the opening ceremony. He also thanked them for the impressive event, which showed the world the civilized image of Kuwait.
His Highness the Amir thanked Kuwaiti people and residents for enthusiastic contribution to the success of the event.
His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Friday sent cables to nine senior states officials to congratulate them on the successful organization of Jaber Stadium opening ceremony.
The cables were sent to His Highness Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad AlSabah, Amiri Diwan Minister Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad AlSabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Mohammad Khaled Al-Hamad AlSabah, Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Sheikh Salman Sabah Salem AlHumoud Al-Sabah, Minister of Public Works and Minister of State for National Assembly Affairs Ali Al-Omair.

In his cables, he lauded the impressive success of the event. He also thanked the state bodies and official for contribution to opening ceremony which showed the civilized image of Kuwait to the world.
His Highness the Crown Prince expressed appreciation of Kuwaiti people and residents for their enthusiastic contributions to the event.
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber AlSabah on Saturday received a cable from National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim, congratulating him on the inauguration of Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium.
In his cable, the Speaker highly appreciated His Highness the Amir’s sponsorship and attendance of the opening ceremony of this magnificent edifice which actually reflected progress and welfare in the country.
“On behalf of my colleagues, the members of the National Assembly, I express sincere and deep congratulations, associated with profound feelings of joy, to Your Highness on the generous sponsorship of the inauguration of the Stadium.” he said.
The Speaker also spoke highly of the grand event which reflected the great national unity of the Kuwaiti people.
In reply, His Highness the Amir sent Al-Ghanim a cable, thanking him and the National Assembly’s members for their feelings of loyalty and amity, and sincere congratulations on the opening of the Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium.
His Highness the Amir also hailed the great efforts of all concerned ministries and authorities to ensure the success of this national festival.
Lauding the eye-catching organizing of the event and intensive public presence, His Highness the Amir wished the nation everlasting security, stability and welfare.
Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Mohammad Al-Khaled AlHamad Al-Sabah has addressed His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber AlSabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, the people and expatriates, expressing congratulations on the grand inauguration of Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium.
Minister Sheikh Mohammad AlKhaled, in an official statement released on Saturday, expressed deep gratitude to the people of Kuwait for their cooperation with security authorities at and around the stadium, during the celebrations yesterday. “Such cooperation facilitated performing our security tasks,” he said.
His Highness the Amir inaugurated the stadium in a grand celebration, attended by a large number of officials and peoples.
State departments including the Ministry of Interior joined hands in ensuring good organization of the event, held at the newly-built massive stadium, located in Al-Ardiya, some 12 km southwest of the capital.
The 400,000-sq-m stadium has accommodation capacity of up to 60,000 spectators.
