Kuwait to host Energy Strategy Forum

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 20: Petroleum Economist, the global energy magazine, and Kuwait Petroleum Corporation will officially co-host the second annual Energy Strategy Forum at The Sheraton Hotel, Kuwait City on Tuesday Jan 26. National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) have confirmed as a Gold Sponsor of the conference.
This VIP, invitation-only forum brings together a 300-strong audience of regional policy makers, national oil companies, international oil companies, financiers, investors and other key market players.
The second in this series of energy strategy forums will explore the contention that the hydrocarbons industry is facing a combination of disruptive forces, which have the potential to radically change the way the industry works.

HE Anas al-Saleh, Kuwait’s minister of finance and acting minister of oil will open proceedings and will be joined by Nizar M. Al-Adsani, deputy chairman and chief executive officer of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation and Bakheet Al-Rashidi, president and chief executive officer of Kuwait Petroleum International (KPI). Pradeep Handa, general manager of the foreign corporate, oil, trade and project finance group at National Bank of Kuwait will also speak at the event.High level speakers from National Bank of Kuwait, Guinness Asset Management, Manaar Energy Consulting, Petronas and APICORP, among others, are also confirmed.
