An Interior Ministry statement indicated the minister and his undersecretary highly respect and appreciate all security officials due to their devotion to duty, excellent performance, and abidance to rule of law.

In response to recent news item published in some local newspapers and social networking sites that the Director General of Saad Al-Abdullah Academy for Security Sciences Brigadier Nasser Bouresli has warned of retiring unless he’s empowered completely to manage affairs of academy without interference, the sector discarded the rumor as unfounded and inaccurate.

It noted Brigadier Bouresli requested retirement due to personal reasons, and that his decision has nothing to do with circumstances of his work. It indicated the sector is ready to clarify all facts and rectify details with the media in transparency, as well as the public.
