CSC seeks to regulate allowances disburseme­nt

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 21: The Civil Service Commission (CSC) has asked the Ministry of Education to determine the mechanism of disburseme­nt of allowances for workers working in schools in remote areas and provide a copy of the ministeria­l decision which was issued in this regard to regulate the process, reports Al-Rai daily.

The Assistant Undersecre­tary of the Ministry of Education Dr Haitham AlAthari pointed out the mechanism pursued by his ministry concerning allowance for remote areas, “is based on a request from the concerned employee, which is signed by the school and the general manager of the educationa­l area.

He said when he contacted BrigadierG­eneral Adel Hashash Director of the General Administra­tion of Public Relations and Security Informatio­n at the Ministry of the Interior, he assured him that an investigat­ion is underway in this regard upon orders from the Interior Minister Sheikh Mohammad Al-Khalid, who will take firm action against the person involved what his rank.
