“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” is racking up internatio­nal box office grosses at supersonic speeds, adding $89 million to its overseas cume on Friday.

The Warner Bros release has now tallied more than $137 million from 65 foreign markets across more than 30,000 screens. Friday saw the addition of 17 more markets, including China, the UK and Japan.

In China, the superhero epic pulled in $20 million on Friday and an additional $22 million on Saturday, notching a new record for the studio’s biggest launch in the territory. UK viewers generated $9 million on Friday, the territory’s biggest opening day of 2016 so far. India also set a new WB record with $2.5 million, the studio’s biggest opening day in the country.
