Prince Alwaleed awards SR250K to the Alriyadh Deaf Sports Club

RIYADH, March 27: HRH Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Chairman of Alwaleed Philanthro­pies, received the players and members of Alriyadh Deaf Sports Club from the Riyadh region, chaired by Mansour Almutairi, at KHC headquarte­rs.

Prince Alwaleed met with Mansour Almutairi who was accompanie­d by the club delegation. The latest updates of the club and its achievemen­ts were discussed at the meeting. Prince Alwaleed stressed the need to support sports and the athletes as well as the developmen­t of clubs in Saudi Arabia and to encourage the young generation to hone its athletic skills and invest their time in useful activities.

As a form of encouragem­ent, Prince Alwaleed awarded the club a total of SR250,000 in support of the club mem- bers, players, the club’s budget and a bus.

In conclusion to the event, Mr. Mansour Almutairi thanked Prince Alwaleed for his support and his constant encouragem­ent to clubs and sport federation­s in Saudi Arabia.
