ICSK Junior conducts Kindergarten Graduation Ceremony
Tiny tots attired in breathtaking colors perform
KUWAIT CITY, March 31: On Thursday March 17th 2016, Indian Community School Kuwait, Junior, wore a festive look, illuminated with shining faces of kindergarten students for the grand Graduation Day.
General Manager of Lulu Exchange KNS Das was the honored Chief Guest for the event. Deputy General Manager Shaiju Mohandas and Area Manager of Lulu Exchange Shafaz Ahmed also graced the ceremony. The dignitaries present for the function were Honorary Secretary of ICSK Board of Trustees Vijay Karayil, Honorary Parent member to the Board George Mathew, Parent representative from ICSK Junior to Board Suresh KP, PAC members Prince Joseph, Manoj Mathew and Manoj K. John.
Principal in-charge Mrs Sherly Dennis, in her opening address, appreciated the presence of esteemed guests, the school management, the PAC members, Parents and the entire team of Junior School for their support in coordinating the event with great fervor and gaiety. The solemn theme song by UKG students paid a fitting tribute to the institution and the teachers.
Honorary Secretary to the School Board of Trustees Vijay Karayil, in his Presidential address, expressed his best wishes and congratulated the graduating students. He also appreciated the generous support rendered by all the teachers. He advised parents on valuable concerns with their children in their formative years, by becoming role models to them. He concluded by saying that “Vision and Mission” of ICSK is implemented in an environment conducive to holistic development of every child

He is an astute professional of high caliber and a gentleman passionately fond of little children. It was indeed a moment of jubilation for ICSK Junior, when Honorary Secretary of the school Board of Trustees Vijay Karayil honored the top scorers of discoverI 2016 with Trophies and certificates.

The aerobic and group dance, performed by LKG students to foot-tapping tunes added color to the ceremony. The vibrant music, dances by tiny tots, attired in breathtaking colors and highly coordi- nated movements promptly set the tone in the campus flaunting the true spirit of celebration and festivity. The cultural extravaganza was interspersed with the most important event, Graduation ceremony of UKG students to grade 1.
Students walked the ramp adorned in traditional convocation gowns and caps. Their smiling faces were met with rapturous applause from the audience as they received scrolls of merit in the presence of their parents and their respective class teachers.
Intermittently one representative from each of the 7 sections was given an opportunity to address the audience reflecting on their experience in school. Students spoke with assertiveness par excellence.
The ceremony came to a close with the vote of thanks by Vice-Principal Mrs Murthy.
