KUWAIT CITY, April 1: Anticorruption Authority has discussed ways to continue the application of assets declaration law subsequent to its expiration last December, reports Al-Qabas daily.

The daily quoting a source noted the authority observes the legitimacy of assets declaration without wasting the efforts of its employees who spared no effort to bring the officials round to disclose their assets since March 20, 2015, during which 2,011 of the total 7,629 assets were made known.

Deputy Director General of Social Services at the Zakat House Mohammad Al-Otaibi Thursday organized a press conference to elaborate the activities of the upcoming conference which will be inaugurated on April 5 under auspices of the Minister of Justice and Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Yacoub Al-Sane.

He explained that the 7th Kuwait Orphanage Conference is a major

event that is aimed to promote the charity activities of Kuwait and enhance the trust of the public, government agencies and private institutions in the activities and projects of the Zakat House.

Al-Otaibi said the conference
