-

KUWAIT CITY, April 1: The Albanian ambassador to Kuwait Kujtim Morina affirmed that his country and the State of Kuwait enjoy excellent bilateral and friendly relations, reports Al-Qabas daily.

He indicated Albania is preparing to receive some Kuwaiti officials led by the Minister of Public Works and State Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr Ali Al-Omair in the course of the year, noting the Albanian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Parliament Speaker on his visit to Kuwait in 2014 had signed several conventions with the government.

He shed light on the level of economic and investment opportunities his country provides to Kuwaiti investors and other foreigners, indicating the number of tourists visiting Albania has increased by 12 percent since 2015.

He also said his country canceled the requirement of entry visas for Kuwaiti citizens since last February, and the decision covers expatriates with valid Schengen, American or British visas provided they have traveled at least one time on their visas.
