Syrian student faces deportation for posting photos with offensive titles
KUWAIT CITY, April 1: Attorney at the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor Dr Zaki Al-Sulaimi said his retirement did not have any link to his blogs and grilling sponsored by MP Abdullah Al-Turaiji, affirming its a decision he had been contemplating for a long time, reports Al-Nahar daily.

He stated the reason for talking about the blog almost 130 days later should be best known to the whistle blower, saying it could be due to political aggrandizement, especially that he did not spend beyond one year and a some months in the National Assembly. KUWAIT CITY, April 1: An unidentified Kuwaiti citizen has pardoned the murderer of her son moments before he was to be executed at the ‘Punishment Square’ in the Saudi governorate of Jubail, reports Al-Shahed daily.
Saudi mass media said the woman and her children pardoned the accused after years of refusing to listen to mediation efforts by the elders and sheikhs and senior personalities.
The Saudi authorities had taken the accused in custody for shooting to death the Kuwaiti youth following an altercation between them seven years ago.
Deportation for Syrian:
The Assistant Undersecretary for Security and Criminal Affairs at the Ministry of Interior Major-General Abdulhameed Al-Awadhi has ordered the deportation of a Syrian student who is accused of posting photos of Kuwaiti students with offensive titles, reports Al-Anba daily.
The daily added, the deportation ordered was signed after it was proved that the suspect was the one who posted the photos and put captions for the pictures. Meanwhile, the official spokesperson at the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training Fatma Al-Enezi said the disciplinary committee formed by the Faculty of Nursing has recommended the dismissal of students who posted the offensive pictures on the website.
However, according to Al-Shahed daily one of the students cried during interrogations and pleaded not to be deported saying her future will be destroyed.
According to reliable sources the students are about to be graduated after spending five years at the faculty and will be eligible to work as nurses.

Two Kuwaiti brothers of ages 21 and 20 were arrested for insulting two Hawally securitymen while the latter were on duty, reports Al-Anba daily.
According to security sources, the two securitymen were patrolling Al-Salam area in south of Surra when they suspected a vehicle with two occupants and demanded the driver to stop. When they refused to abide by the orders and tried to flee, securitymen forced them to stop and the suspects insulted them.
The two securitymen filed a complaint at Hawally Police Station against the suspects who were referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against them.
Complaint over laser therapy:
An unidentified young woman has filed a complaint with the Nugra Police Station accusing an employee at a beauty parlor in the area of burning her body during laser therapy to remove hair from the body, reports Al-Anba daily.
The complainant has provided a medical report to substantiate her claim.

A Pakistani expatriate was arrested for forging official documents, reports Al-Seyassah daily.
The Public Relations and Security Media Department of Ministry of Interior explained that officers from General Department for Residency Affairs suspected a company that has been issuing commercial visas to a large number of individuals. Investigations revealed that four commercial visas were issued without the knowledge of the owner of the company, which raised further doubts as she has the sole authority to sign on documents of her company and has not given power of attorney to anyone.
Securitymen checked the applications to discover that a Pakistani employee used to sign on the documents and would request the company’s mandoup (representative) to follow up the visa procedures.
The suspect was arrested and referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against him.
A Kuwaiti has filed a complaint with the Mubarak Al-Kabir Police Station accusing a Jordanian of swindling him, reports Al-Anba daily.
The suspect reportedly convinced the man to invest KD 10,000 in a commercial project and escaped with the money.
The suspect who has admitted to the charge has been handed over to the concerned authorities.
